Friday night’s football game with Hitchcock/Tulare will

The South Dakota National Guard, along with the
Woonsocket Booster Club, is sponsoring a homecoming tailgate party on Friday,
October 3rd starting at 6:00 pm at the football field. Hamburgers, Brats, Chips and Drink will be
served for a free will donation with all proceeds going to the Booster Club.

Friday, October 10th is our first extra help day.
MS & HS teachers will turn in lists of missing assignments on
Wednesday, October 8th at noon. Students will be notified of all missing
assignments. Thursday, October 9th we will begin calling the parents of
students who have not completed all missing assignments at 1:00 pm.
Friday, October 10th students will need to be present from 8:00 am until
11:00 am or all assignments are turned in.
MS/HS Students remind your parents to contact the
teachers so that you receive your bonus points before October 10th.
Teachers will be available on October 10th, our extra help day, from 8:00-11:00
am if parents want to schedule an appointment. If you have problems with

Great Scarecrow Event - October 2nd thru 5th – Campbell Park in
Huron – sponsored by Huron Lions and Lioness Clubs. A cash prize is
awarded to the youth winners. Create your own scarecrow and enjoy this

Mitchell will once again be hosting manufacturing tours
on Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We encourage
students and parents to attend. Students will again have the
opportunity to sign up for a $500 scholarship to MTI at both the manufacturers
