Congratulations to our FFA members who placed at Little I: Farm Business Management-4th Place team out of 24 - Jessica Schmit-8th (6th out of SD individuals), John Blindauer-16th (14th out of SD individuals); Floriculture-5th place team out of 38 (1st out of SD teams) Claudia Miller-6th (3rd out of SD individuals), Kelsey Henson-20th (9th out of SD individuals), Haley Ruml-58th (26th out of SD individuals)
Gone to State FFA next week are Kelbi, Hannah, Jessica, Claudia, Kelsey, Leah, Haley, Garrett, Trevor, Cody, Dillon, Tyler, Logan, Tom, Jarid, Cole, Shane, Kasey, John, Joe H, Taylor W. You will need to turn in your Code of Conduct and SC FFA/W FFA State Convention Agreement tomorrow. A copy can be obtained in the office if needed. For State FFA Convention, we will start loading the bus at Woonsocket on Sunday, April 14th at 12:15 p.m. and will leave Woonsocket at 12:45 p.m. We will start loading at Sanborn Central around 1:00 p.m. and leave at 1:15 p.m. Finally, we will start loading at Artesian around 1:30 p.m. and leave around 1:40 p.m.
Seniors meet in the computer lab at 8:15 tomorrow morning for your senior experience work day. You must be here until you confirm that your project is complete!
There will be no elementary PE at all tomorrow or Friday due to prom decorating beginning early with a huge thanks to Mother Nature!
23 years is how long Mrs. Schmit has been with our school district and still loves the hugs and smiles she gets every day. She also enjoys the moment when her kindergarten students start blending letters into words - teaching a student how to read is so rewarding! Mrs. Schmit chose to be a teacher because she enjoys working with children and loves how enthusiastic they are about learning. Mrs. Schmit lives on a farm in rural Artesian with her husband Roger, and her two children Ashly and Austin. They share their space with four horses and two dogs that are rather spoiled. She loves animals and being outdoors. Mrs. Schmit, thank you for choosing to teach at Sanborn Central.

The date for the HS Play has been moved from April 25th to May 1st.
We will be doing an update to Infinite Campus this weekend to address a problem with the Scheduling Wizard. All sites will be taken down Friday, Apr 4th at approximately 5pm CST with the plan to have everything back online by Sunday, Apr 6th no later than 11pm. During this time Infinite Campus will be unavailable for all users including parents/students
