It’s Blackhawk Proud we are today as we have sent the team off to the state B tournament.  

There are no CTE’s today.

MS Homework Club and updates are due at noon today.

Boys HS Willie Mac Practice in Woonsocket today at 3:30PM.

Letcher Rock Solid is sponsoring a Movie Night at Logan Luxury Theatre in Mitchell this upcoming Wednesday the 12th at 7pm for the showing of Son Of God. Food and ticket will be provided. Open to anyone in grades 9-12. We will plan on meeting at the Theater entrance at 6:45. If you can come or need a ride please let Sara Adams know by Tuesday night at 999-1702.

From Mr. Kroeger:  Lessons 5th-8th: All lessons need to be made up today as the quarter ends tomorrow! If you are unsure if you have four lessons for the quarter, please come down ask.  

Boys Basketball Uniforms can be handed in to Coach Rick Olsen at Sanborn Central and Coach Rod Weber at Woonsocket ASAP.  Thanks

HS Students:  If you have songs that you would like to play for prom – please write the title and artist on a slip of paper and give to Leah or deposit in the box in the HS lab.

Anyone interested in being an FFA member must join by March 15th – see Mr. Gross for more information.

FFA Members: If you do not have an FFA jacket or yours no longer fits you need to talk to Mr. Gross or email him by March 13th.  You are REQUIRED to have an FFA jacket to attend State Convention.  You will not be allowed on the bus for State Convention without proper official dress.

Football team meeting on Monday, March 17th in Woonsocket at 4:00 pm - For all high school players next year.

State Tourney Info:
Games will be aired on SDPB channel 3 (Santel Channel 148) and also on-line at SDPB.org.  On the radio KOKK http://www.performance-radio.com/kokk/ and  Kool98  http://kool98.com/ will also be airing the 1st game (first one for sure)

The Booster Club Hospitality Room will be over-flowing with excitement and fellowship at the B’s. Thursday at 4:30 enjoy Sub Sandwiches, Chips, and Cookies.  Friday at 4:30 they will be serving Pizza, and Saturday with the time yet to be determined they will be serving Meat, Cheese, and Fruit.  

Fans attending the State Tourney – Pennants, Number 1 fingers, foam noodles, homer hankies, rooter poms, etc. will be permitted.

Tourney Fans Note: The balcony seats are for general admission for all spectators for all sessions.  The main floor bleachers are reserved for the spectators of the teams who are playing the game.  The bleachers will be cleared after each game during the tournament.

Tourney themes are: Thursday- Students- Safari/Hunting “Hunt the WiLdKats”  Adults- Red/White/B                            
                                  Friday -   Hippie/70's/Disco Day         Adults - Blackout  Day                          
                                  Saturday- Everyone - WHITEOUT DAY

A WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION has been scheduled for 12:00PM on Sunday in the Woonsocket Gym.  A caravan will meet and escort the team from the 3 mile corner east of Woonsocket starting at 11:45AM.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to show support for our Blackhawk Girls Basketball Team!
