Orange Day – Tutoring
We are filled with BLACKHAWK PRIDE!

The Boys Blackhawk BB team finished the regular season with a 78-38 win over Bridgewater-Emery last night.  Leading was:  Brady 12 pt & 11 reb, Davion 17 pt, Jaedyn 6 pt, Tyler 7 pt, Trevor 2 pt, Dillon 17 pt, Tucker 6 pt & 8 reb & 8 assists, Jalen 3 pt, Jarid 6 pt and 5 reb,  Wyatt 2 pt.    30-56 FG for 54%,   15-21 FT for 71% rebound advantage 37-25, 16 Assists on 30 FG.  The boys finished the regular season with a 17-3 record and rated #5 in the state.  The boys will play Wolsey-Wessington in District play.  Coach Olson’s comments:  The boys should be extremely proud to put up 17 wins against one of the hardest schedules anyone can play.  They have earned their place with the top teams in the state.  Now we can focus on making a run at a state tourney berth.

Today the varsity Ladies play in the district tournament at the Huron Arena against Wolsey/Wessington at 4:00 pm.  The bus will leave here at 2:25.  It’s a great day for a Blackhawk Victory.  If you aren’t making the trip – tune in to KOKK for live coverage.  http://www.performance-radio.com/kokk/

Very important that fans understand the rules and regulations of tournament play:
No Banners, No Signs, No Balloons, No Noisemakers, No Lasers, No Jumping, No Confetti or Silly String, No Face Masks

Have you found that perfect prom dress?  The Glass Slipper in Mitchell may be able to help.  The Glass Slipper project gives away free prom dresses and accessories to high school students in the Mitchell and surrounding areas.  The Glass Slipper collects new and almost-new formal dresses and accessories and provides them free of charge to students who are unable to purchase their prom attire.  Student does not need to prove any financial hardship in order to get a dress.  Each student will receive individual assistance from a volunteer "personal shopper" as she shops for the dress of her dreams.  The event will be held Friday, February 28th from 4-8 pm and Saturday, March 1st from 9:00 am - Noon at the Mitchell Wesleyan Church.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxqWDgwTHOqeeDh1VnhaOE9WSHc/edit?usp=sharing
