Orange Day - Tutoring

Good luck to the boys basketball team as they travel to JVC tonight.  The bus will leave SC at 3:45 and Woonsocket at 3:55.  The JH game is scheduled to tip off at 5:15.  GO Blackhawks!

This week is School Board Recognition Week.  Our children benefit every day from the leadership of our local school board.  Today we will highlight our newest board member, Clayton Dean, who has served 6 months on the board.  Clayton graduated from Artesian High School and SDSU. He is employed as a purchasing manager.  Clayton’s spot on the board was because he wanted to be a part of the process that educates our kids. He hopes to help find ways for the school to grow and maintain a quality education for our youth.  Clayton, we thank you for making the commitment to serve Sanborn Central students, staff, and patrons!

Stats from the Varsity Girls game at Kimball/White Lake - Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 66   Kimball/White Lake 33.  Leaders include: Shelby Selland 20 points and 7 rebounds; Myah Selland 15 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists; Marissa Weber 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists; Morgan Selland 9 points and 6 rebounds

Soccer Volunteers……..At this time Sanborn Central is unsure if we will be offering a soccer program this spring.  We are in need of an adult volunteer to head the program. If interested please contact Mrs. Whitney at linda.whitney@k12.sd.us prior to January 31st.

Just a reminder to one and all – Please do not place cash in an envelope for your lunch bill without putting a name on it somewhere.  Again, we have an envelope that had cash in it and no clue whose lunches it should be applied to!  If it’s yours, please call the office. You can see the outside of the envelope at  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxqWDgwTHOqeV2hoaGVQRXY5OGM/edit?usp=sharing
