Orange Day 

Sanborn Central bids farewell to Mr. Walker today.  We have enjoyed having him as a member of our Rebel family - Mr. Walker, we wish you nothing but success!

Girls are at Sanborn Central today and guys are at Woonsocket.

Tomorrow at 10:00 am our Quiz Bowl team will take on Huron.  We wish Shane, Shelby, Jessica, Hannah, Joe, and Allysha nothing but correct answers!

SCW Band Kids--thank you, thank you for the awesome card I received signed by all of you! It was a great surprise to find in the mail! Thanks also for the Subway card! You guys were a great bunch of kids to travel with and a joy to watch! I can't wait to whoop it up on the streets as you march by next year! Keep tooting your own horns!! The 4th/5th grade will be with Shelby Friday morning instead of Thursday this week.

Did you notice the Angel Tree set up in the commons?  This is a project of Tasha Moody.  Feel free to grab a card and make someone’s holiday!  Please have all gifts at the school no later than Thursday, December 12th as the delivery date is December 14th.  With your gift please have the card you chose and the receipt for the gift.  Do not wrap the gifts.  If you would like to help spread the Christmas Cheer, but don’t have the time to come to school, your cash donation will be welcomed.   Cash will go directly to the Angel Tree program.   Gifts or cash will need to be brought to the office at Sanborn Central no later than December 12th as Tasha will pick everything up after the Christmas Concert.  Questions please contact Tasha Moody 770-2219.

          Please note that the time has changed in Letcher once again.  The truck arrives at 7:45 and pick up is scheduled for 8:45 (but you can always come early).  This means the volunteers can sleep a bit later than 4:30 am.  Please note that this Saturday we are sharing the Community Center with the Santa's Last Stop Vendor Fair and with the time change we will be overlapping - we encourage everyone to be prompt on pick up if you are not volunteering.

The Artesian Community Improvement Association Membership Drive & Christmas Ham Drawing will be Saturday December 7th at 6:30pm at the Artesian Community Center.  Lunch will be served, we will draw for gifts and Santa Claus will be there!

We are continuing to collect pop tabs for donations to the Ronald McDonald House.  Just send them in whenever.
