Rebel Country – You should be proud!. This morning the county nurse’s office is administering over 100 flu vaccines! Way to take care of yourself and others!Today is the last day to receive bonus points for parent conferences!
Girls and boys in grades 7-12 that are interested in participating in a golf program co-oping with Woonsocket need to sign up in the office by 3:15 this Friday. The school board will be making a final decision about the program at their November 11 school board meeting.
Volleyball is at Sanborn Central today.

Thursday during the football game the Woonsocket Junior Class will be selling Chili with all the toppings, bars and a drink for a five dollar bill!
The Sanborn Central 8-12th band students are currently fundraising for their senior band trips! If you haven't been shown any products yet, get in touch with a band member!!! Fundraiser ends Friday 10/25/13
Band students need to bring work to the gym today since it is Sectional Wednesday. Here is the order:
Percussion: 11:40am- 11:55am (set up before 11:40am)
Woodwinds: 11:55am- 12:10pm
Brass: 12:10pm- 12:25pm
Pep Band Thursday @ Woonsocket. Be there by 6:30pm. We will begin playing at 6:40pm. Depending on the weather, we will also play halftime.
Reminders for Thursday’s Little girl's Cheerleading Performance
• Girls need to be at the football field in Woonsocket by 6:00 PM on Thursday for practice. Transportation from WS and SC will NOT be provided.
• The game starts at 7 PM and the performance is going to take place at half time.
• Please send the girls to the back side of the crow’s nest when there are 2 minutes left on the clock in the second period.
• Dress the girls in layers (preferably black, white, blue, or red) with their white cheerleading shirts as the top layer, black comfy pants, tennis shoes, and make sure their hair is in a ponytail and off of their collar.

Sunday, October 27th the Annual Letcher Halloween Party will be held at the community center from 3:00-5:00 pm. We ask that each child bring a canned food item for the Sanborn County Food Pantry. We would like each family to provide a cake, cookies, or cupcakes for the cake walk. If you would like to participate in the trunk-or-treat please contact Missy Hoffman at 605-461-1660. Trunk or Treat will be held behind the Community Center again this year.
Mark your calendar for the JO Volleyball Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser - October 28th in the Woonsocket gym for a mere $5.00. For those who don't know, JO Volleyball is a private team that some of the Lady Blackhawks play on. It is not school sponsored.
