The gym will be off limits for everyone Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Absolutely no one is to go into the gym as it will be refinished on Friday and it is supposed to not have anyone on it for a couple of days.

Any Sanborn Central FFA member who would like to show in the FFA division at the State Fair needs email Mr. Gross at shane.gross@k12.sd.us

2013 Blackhawk Football:  There will be an initial coaches/parents/players meeting at the following times:
·         Monday, August 12 – 5:00 pm at Sanborn Central School
·         Monday, August 12 – 6:00 pm at Woonsocket School
These meeting are for all players in grades 7-12 and their parents.  After the meeting, equipment will be issued.
The first practice for high school players will be Thursday, August 15 at 4:00 pm.  There will also be practice August 16 and 17 at 8:00 am.  The 7th/8th graders will begin practice on Monday, August 19 at 4:00 pm. A complete practice schedule, game schedule, and JH/JV schedule will be issued at the meeting on the 12th.  If unable to attend the meeting please contact Coach Jason Kolousek.  461-8584 or Jason.kolousek@k12.sd.us

URGENT:  Sanborn Central School District has the following vacancies for the 2013-2014 school year:
·        5&6 BBB coach from September – November for SCW Blackhawk team.

SAVE THE DATE:  Back-to School Night is Monday, August 19, 2013 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm.  Free meal.  Open House for students, parents, patrons, and friends.  HS students will register for classes with advisor.  Elementary and Middle School parents are invited to attend a Title 1 parent meeting at 6:30pm in the gym.  Parents of students that were in grades 3-8 and 11 will receive the DakotaSTEP results from last spring.
