Monday – August 26, 2013
Orange Day
PACKETS ARE DUE TODAY!!!!

We welcome our 2014 Class of Pre-school students to our Rebel Family: Miley Adams, Carter Edwards, Bryn Kisor, Riley Kneen, Myles Larson, Chance Machado, Ian Octavo, Justice White, Jayden Woldt, and Layton Zoss.

Congratulations to the SCMS 2013-2014 Student Council Representatives: Samantha Dean, Katie Schmit, Alex Wormstadt, Cole Moody, Trent Kingsbury, and Koby Larson!

The Junior Class will meet for the annual magazine sales at 8:30 this morning.

Football practice will be in Woonsocket today at 4:00.  We understand that heat is a factor and will take every precaution possible – practice today will be with just helmets.  There is a possibility that we will change practice times on Tuesday or Wednesday because of the heat.  If a change does occur we will send out an email on Monday night.   Right now plan on 4:00 pm, but be aware a change could be made and we will let everyone know. Coach Kolousek

Students – when signing in – don’t forget to put the reason you are signing in late or leaving early.  Also all tardies are unexcused unless we have parent notification!

If you are enrolled to take an Ag class next semester and would like to be an FFA member, please let Mr. Gross know by Thursday, August 29th, the end of next week.  Remember, it is required by the National FFA Organization that you are enrolled in at least a semester of Agricultural Education to be an FFA Member during a given school year.
Don’t forget the marching band parent meeting to be held Tuesday, August 27th at 7:00 in Woonsocket. Discussion will include transportation of percussion/tubas/color guard equipment to parades, fitting of uniforms, uniform care, and any questions you may have.

Friday night’s football game at White Lake features a tailgate supper starting at 6:00 pm and will be broadcast on KOOL 98 - http://kool98.com/

An addition to items that can help support our school will be Country Heart Loaves for Learning - more info can be found at http://www.loaves4learning.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/L4L-Letter-to-the-Parents.pdf
