SANBORN CENTRAL E-NEWS

Congratulations to the cast and crew of yesterday’s high school play on a couple of great performances!

Mrs. Danek would like to thank the cast and crew for the beautiful flowers and for a job well done at the play last night!

From Tracy Moody and the National Honor Society: A huge thank you to everyone who took time to donate blood yesterday!! We actually had to turn away some of our students as we ran out of time. Our goal was 23 pints and we collected 37!! That is the largest amount that we can remember … Thanks again!

This year’s final Mystery Senior plans on packing his DUFFEL bag and heading to MTI for systems technology. Watching “Dazed and Confused” while eating any food that is available will draw this senior’s interest. “Shenanigans” to keep him from being bored in class will always be a fond memory, as well as the time he spent in Mr. Waldron’s classes. FFA and work have kept this senior busy. Who is this Mystery Senior? Find out in tomorrow’s e-News.

The school is still seeing students (especially younger ones) being diagnosed with Influenza A and B. With the school year winding down, it can be hard to determine if the symptoms are due to allergies, sinus problems, or just the wonderful South Dakota weather. If your child is feeling at all ill, complaining of a sore throat or running a fever, please keep them at home. Check out more about symptoms at http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/lung/flu.html.

Cost of the camp is $5 to include lunch, a snack and a t-shirt. Pre-registration is requested by Wednesday, May 15. For more information, contact Pat Larson at the Woonsocket School. To download a registration form, go to www.sdfu.org/assets/docs/2013-education-sanborn-county-camp.pdf.

Here is the 2013 Yearbook order form. The price is $35.00 each. Personalization adds $5.00 and icons add $2.50. If your yearbook is to be personalized, the order needs to be in by Friday, May 10. Otherwise, it needs to be in by Wednesday, May 15.
