SANBORN CENTRAL E-NEWS

Yesterday’s link to the lunch bill letters was incorrect. Here’s the right one:

The school is still seeing students (especially younger ones) being diagnosed with Influenza A and B. With the school year winding down, it can be hard to determine if the symptoms are due to allergies, sinus problems, or just the wonderful South Dakota weather. If your child is feeling at all ill, complaining of a sore throat or running a fever, please keep them at home. Check out more about symptoms at http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/lung/flu.html.

Here’s an updated list of the members of the Blackhawk Track Team who will be participating at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays on Friday and Saturday. Rex Schlicht will compete in the 100 meters, 110 hurdles, and 300 hurdles. Myah Selland will compete in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 800 relay, and medley relay. Ashley Schmit will compete in the 100 meters, 400 meters-alternate, 800 relay and medley relay. Shelby Selland will compete in the 800 relay and medley relay. Maddie Vermeulen will compete in the 800 relay and medley relay. Check the schedule and results at www.dakotarelays.com.

Coborn’s receipts for February, March and April need to be turned in by Monday at the school or at CorTrust Bank in Artesian or Letcher.

A new shipment of both sizes of Team Tan-Dog bracelets has arrived, so they are now available for sale again at $5 each.

An attempt is being made to include soccer games and practices in the e-News. However, sometimes the schedules change without much notice. Information received from the coaches should be relied on more than what is in the e-News.
