SANBORN CENTRAL E-NEWS

From Mrs. Whitney: Last night's supper and pep band concert for Tanna and the Kingsbury family raised $2976.58 in donations with an additional $500 pledged from the Sanborn County Thrivent group.  It was an outstanding concert and everyone enjoyed the music by the band and the drumline.  There were some interesting conducting styles displayed by our guest conductors who were staff members from both schools that the band members selected.  Hats off to them and most importantly to the band and Mr. Kroeger!!!!  It was wonderful to see and hear a great performance!  We are all looking forward to the spring concerts.

Thanks to everyone that attended and donated to Tanna and her family!  An account is being established today at Home Federal Bank in Mitchell, SD in Tanna's name.  It probably won't be active until tomorrow, though, as Mrs. Vermeulen won't be going to set it up until later today.  BLackhawk thoughts and prayers go out to Tanna and her family.  We are all proud to be Blackhawks and WE BELIEVE!!!!!!

Today’s Mystery Senior plans on becoming a power lineman with the help of MTI. This senior has been active in football, basketball, track, and band during his time at SCHS and if you couldn’t guess PE is his favorite class. “21 Jump Street” and steak are a couple of things that this senior enjoys also. A favorite memory for this senior is beating Wolsey/Wessington for conference championship just in the NICK of time – 4 overtimes! Who is this Mystery Senior? Find out in tomorrow’s Rebel e-News.
